LoveLight

Compelled with darkness and pain. She was empty, alone, and afraid.
That person she once loved transformed into the stranger she never knew.
Hopeful she waited to see that face she once held so dear, but it never came.
Instead at times there was a haze of a faded distant resemblance calling out her name.
Even though the voice sounded the same, the feeling was the opposition of a frequent enemy.
How is it possible to do much good, and reap more bad. To give your all only to be betrayed in the end.
To sacrifice everything. Only to be gifted with a hole in your heart. A soul separated from your body, a lost part.
She started to blame herself as her mind played tricks on her. She couldn't see her worth or what she deserved.
She replaced quality with quantity. She replaced love with lust. She replaced standards with settling. Numb to emotions the love ship was sunken.
So far gone beyond understanding. Just wanting to be loved, an hopeless romantic.
Then came the Light blinding so bright. With an offering of warmth and comfort.
Bringing with it peace, love, and happiness.
Hypnotizing with its scenery, and unbelievable magical mystery.
Condemning any darkness remaining inside. Driving out the negative forces caused by past disappointments.
Now that night has surrendered the sun is shining. So beautiful, electrical. More than she could have imagined.
Catering to her fragile heart now being securely held in its presence.
She has been set free into the Love Light and out of the Darkness.
